My Newest Adventure!

 

Hello Loves!

I am excited to let you all in to what I have been so busy with the last few months. At the end of November 2016 I made the decision to start my own business. I decided that I needed something more from life. I needed something that was all my own to focus my energy into. My depression was in high gear and I felt disconnected to so much. I needed to dive head first into something I loved. I needed a job for my down time. So, I signed up with Legging Army Leggings and thus, Kat’s Legging Army was born. The quality of these leggings is superior to most other legging brands out there. They are super soft and come in every design and pattern you can imagine. I have gotten to the point where I rarely wear anything outside of my LA leggings.

In the months following that decision, I focused on growing my new business. It takes a lot more than just creating a Facebook page or group and expecting the product to sell itself. Its reaching out to people, its listening to training calls and watching videos about expanding and excelling with a small business. Its listening to Podcasts about other entrepreneurs and the journey they took to get where they are. Owning a business involves tracking inventory, helping clients, and managing accounts. Its advertising and marketing. Its learning new skills and how to apply them to your business all while balancing all of this with daily life.

Honestly, its hard. But it is so worth it.

Recently, I decided to expand the products I sell to include Designer Shoes. (With coming expansion into jewelry and purses). I am so in love with the stunning styles from Fibi & Clo. They are HIGH Quality shoes with glimmering gemstones on them. They are the shoes of princesses.

I LOVE the look in clients faces when they fall in love with a new pair of leggings or see the gorgeous jewels on their new shoes. It makes every frustration worth while.

In this journey I have had some struggles. I fell into a slump and had a month with no sales. This really hurt my ego but I realized that the lows in my business fell hand in hand with the lows in my mental state. I go back to the FACT that you HAVE to take control of your health to stay a functioning member of society.

All in all I am proud of myself. I have journeyed into a new world with this business. Starting a new business isn’t something I took lightly. For a long time I had a bitter taste in my mouth when it came to MLM or Direct Sales businesses. So many people get into them JUST for the money and I didn’t want that. I didn’t want ANYONE to feel pressured to buy from me. I have seen MLM business owners go to many extremes to sell a product. They would say things like “this can cure your health issues” and make promises of unrealistic results. I didn’t want to be that kind of person. I am confident that my clients can see the quality of my goods. I don’t need to make false promises to deliver great results.
